The Skoda Fabia is back - and better than ever. Launched during May 2007, the new supermini is the sequel to one of the most successful models in Skoda's history. The multi-award winning Fabia may have undergone a host of changes, but you'll still recognise the same charm and reliability that's made it so popular in the past. From design and safety to engine choices and unique features, it ticks every box in improving our little car.
The engine choice will have you purring too. The new Fabia features 4 petrol and 3 diesel engines, 5 of which are brand new. The petrol engines start with a very capable 1.2 6v 60bhp and go right up to a 1.6 16v 105bhp 6-speed tiptronic - the only 6-speed tiptronic currently available in the Small Car sector. The diesel engines open with a 1.4 TDI PD 70bhp, pumping out a respectable 155Nm of torque. And if you're hungry for real power, the 1.9 TDI PD 105bhp engine tops the range.
Of course, safety is one of the Fabia's top priorities. Once inside, you'll notice driver and front passenger airbags, side airbags and even curtain airbags. ABS comes as standard and cornering headlights make for safer night driving.
